Bamboo Bell Pendant Lampshade

Each shade begins as a bundle of bamboo split into even strips by hand. The weaver works from the collar downward over a wooden mould, widening the body row by row, then binds the lower rim with a doubled cane wrap so the shade holds its shape for years.

Crafted in East Khasi Hills, Meghalaya, Northeast India.

A bell-shaped pendant shade woven from split bamboo over a shaped mould. The open lattice body throws a soft, patterned light downward while the narrow woven collar hides the fitting. Produced in a range of diameters and drop heights for dining tables, stairwells, and hospitality installations.
