Product Story
The vase is the workshop's showpiece: the swell of the body and the flare of the neck both have to be judged by eye as the weave grows, with no mould to guide the transition between them.
Crafted in East Khasi Hills, Meghalaya, Northeast India.
Craftsmanship & Process
A tall vase form with a bulbous body and a flared neck, woven in a fine vertical rib over a shaped mould. Made as a decorative piece for dried stems and branches — it is not sealed for water.
